After 41 years, the popular soap opera, All My Children, will wrap up it's final scenes on Friday, September 23, 2011, in a two-hour episode.
For 41 years, we have watched Erica Kane, played by the lovely, Susan Lucci, grow up before our eyes. We have seen her grow from a teen, into a successful business woman. We have watched her many marriages, and watched her mother her two daughters, Kendall and Bianca. It seems the world loves Erica Kane.
We have also watched the rest of the Pine Valley families, from Palmer Cortlandt (James Mitchell) and his brood, to Adam Chandler (David Canary) and his family duke it out over control of their family businesses, Cortlandt Enterprises and Chandler Enterprises, respectively. We have grown to love the Martin clan, with Joe Martin (Ray McDonnell) and his family, most of whom seemed to become doctors too.
After four decades on air, All My Children will come to a close like it predecessors, As the World Turns and Guiding Light.

As of this date, I have heard word on facebook that All My Children's last episode, 9/23/11 may not be 2 hours...but that's the word I've heard on facebook...
