You're not going to believe me.
I understood the post holiday rush but I went to the city. I went to a store to buy a phone for my wife as a gift for the holidays. Then I spotted this little cellphone made by Cherry Mobile.
A phone loaded with awesome features for less than a thousand pesos (Philippine peso)? That is too affordable. At the price of Php 999, you get a dual SIM phone with VGA camera, FM radio, mp3 and 3gp video Player, Bluetooth, loudspeaker and flashlight. You can even expand memory up to 8 GB. Php 999 is like $22 or so. It also has WAP browser. It is a candybar phone available in various colors (green, purple, orange, yellow, blue, red, black and white). The dimension is 109x46x14mm. It weighs 75g. The screen size is 128 x 160 pixels or 1.77 inches.
The only setback for most Cherry Mobile phones is the battery life.
What is Cherry Mobile?
Cherry Mobile is a Filipino mobile phone company. The Cherry Mobile models are categorized as sulit phone, clamshell, touchscreen, TV phone, mini phone, slim phone, Q, D and Android series. It is also known that Cherry Mobile released the first ever Windows phone in the country. The company is operated by Cosmic Technologies Inc.
If you are looking for a phone with great basic features at an affordable price, Cherry Mobile D11 is highly recommended. This works great for your kids.
I did not buy one though but that time, I had to wait for the cashier to assist 11 customers before me. All of them bought Cherry mobile D11.The next day, my wife accompanied a friend who was to buy a phone. She convinced her friend to buy D11. Later that day when she went home, she told me something about that phone. No, she didn't know that I already have seen it.

Seems like it would be a good phone for the younger generation, but, for the life of me, I don't know why any adult would want a phone with a built in FM radio. mp3 player, vp3 player, flashlight, etc.
An excellent review of an interesting product, noinetheless.

the flashlight thing, i think we need it for emergency. we're prone to natural disasters and blackout

Cherry mobile D11 surely has an ebook reader but I don't know how to use it, I don't know what is the ebook format of it, I don't know how to download ebooks for it Please help me

Plus, it's great since once it loads completely (you have to wait a little bit), it'll automatically save the last page you read. And it doesn't take too long to load again the second time.

True, the downside is the very short battery life, much as each CP comes with 2 batteries.

nice work. but i traded mine for a nokia old model. it is very sturdy. i fell on the floor. but instead of being destroyed, it actually cracked the tile. -_- it is a rock hard phone hehehe.

Cherry Mobile is ok as a second phone, but don't rely on it as your primary phone as it might, just might not work when you ultimately have to call or text someone important. :D

cherry mobile is quite good actually and pretty affordable too. one of my cps is a cherry mobile X90 and i have had it for a year. battery has no problems. durable too! it has landed on the floor once too many and everything is still ok. even the camera is still fine.

i have a cherry mobile d11 phone but i could not seem to play the music that is saved in my memory card continuously. anybody knows how to set up the audio player to play the music from the memory card? it will be much appreciated thanks..

I also had that same problem but luckily I was able to solve it. All you need to do is to go to the music player and hit options.Go to music list then choose list 1. Once you're able to see "Empty List", just hit options again and choose "Search all music". There, problem solved :D

papano po magpiplay ng music continuosly. kasi po yung music na nahahighlight yun lang po ang magplay. pagkatapos ay hihinto na. papano ba iplay ang isang folder of music continuosly. salamat.

how to play music continuously on this phone. cause i noticed only the highlighted one will play and after that it stops playing. how to play the entire folder of songs continuously? also, i noticed that during play, the next and previous buttons are greyed. thanks
