With opticians insisting on an eye test everytime you want to order new lenses, it time to cut them out and save a few quid.

I have been using this site for the last three years and have found it is a really quick and easy way to get new lenses. I tend to only use my contact lenses on weekends and holidays so ordering new ones is spaced out a bit and I was finding every time I wanted to reorder the opticians wanted to do a eye test first. Every 6-9 months for an eye test is over kill in my mind and a very costly way to get new contacts, so I had a look around the net for a site I could order replacement lenses from as and when I needed.
This is when I found contectlenses.co.uk and I have been using them ever since. The site gives you a list of previous orders, therefore rembering your prescription making reordering very quick and easy. I also find the prices are extremely competitive and all the orders I have made have been dispatched either the same day or the next business day.
The site and order tracking system are both very easy to use and navigate, with email updates for order confirmation and dispatch. There is a huge choice of lenses to so most people should be able to find what they are looking for,
All in all a very good site I would recommend to everyone.

I am shortsighted. I live in Nigeria. I use spectacle lenses for over 20 years. I am having the feeling to change to contact lenses. But the eye nurses in Nigeria are telling me that African environment ( Nigeria ) is not good for the usage of contact lenses. she said Nigerian weather is too dusty for the wearing of contact lenses. what is your opinion? I am tired of using spectacle glasses. I want to disguise my eye problem

The hot and dusty enviroment my very well cause a few problems with contact lenses. Personally I have a problem with air conditioning drying out my lenses. The only way to find out if they will work is to give them a go and see. Like you i started wearing lenses as i was fed up of wearing glasses (been wearing them since I was 1 so 30 years now, contacts make doing things like sport a lot easier I find. Good luck

I've stopped wearing contact lenses many years ago. It's because I don't like it when the lenses gets dry in my eyes.
Is it advisable to order from a company when they have not even checked your eyesight?

I have my eye's routinely checked every 12 to 18 months so I know that nothing has changed and everything is healthy. The issue here in the UK at the moment is every time you want to reorder lenses they want to do an extra eyetest therefore doubling the cost. In short the profit margin on an eyetest is far greater end on the lenses so they force the retest. This has recently been in the UK press as a bit of a scam by opticians.
