How to Pick Cheap Groceries on Sale
If you have a large size family, you might want to save money when you shop on groceries. The key is to make a list and plan to save.
Plan your menu for the month
Do you know what you are going to buy? You should shop and find what's on sale. Using coupons and finding groceries on sale is a great way to shop. Stack upon items and plan to compare prices with other stores.
Plan 1. Cut all coupons for the following week. If you notice a certain store who has the most weekly sale; pick that store and take the ad with you. Do your search when comparing prices.
Plan 2. Use coupons at stores that doubles their coupons. You will enjoy picking that main store to do all of your shopping at.
Plan 3.Try to buy at least two Suandays paper. Be sure to collect and organize your coupons. Buy a coupon organizer for your collection o coupons, it makes it more easier for you to shop.
Plan 4. Pick items that you can stack upon for at least four to five weeks whenever they go on sale.
Plan 5. Pay close attention to items you think you are getting the most of. Just because seasonings, potatoes chips are on sale doesn;t mean you got the full ounce. Becareful of the unit price. Many people make mistakes by assuming if they buy a larger package or a bulk package of cereal it will be cheaper. That's not always the case do your research.
Plan 6. Make a list of your grocery items using coupons. Buy the brand items that are on sale that you have coupons for. Be sure to compare all prices at local stores. But don't try to visit four or five different sores in one day. Discount dollar stores do not accept manufacter coupons. Plan to buy items that are cheaper by making at least two trips to the grocery store at different stores weekly, I shop monthly if possible.
Shop early in the morning to avoid heavy crowds. Try to shop alone and make it short with a list. The longer you stay you will be spending money. Do not shop hungry you will go beyond your budget list, I have experienced this before. Good Luck!
