About Drazon Ball Kai Series
Have you heard about the revised series for Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z? Well it is true, there is a revised release of the Dragon Ball Series.
Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z were revised and released as Dragon Ball Kai, and Dragon Ball Z Kai. This is the new anime name for the revised version of the series.
It has the same storyline and same characters, the only difference is that this version of Dragon Ball is in high definition and some of the scenes from the original were omitted.
The Kai version of Dragon Ball was solefully released as a tribute for its 20th Anniversary. It aired last April 5, 2009. For those who doesn't know the meaning of Kai, it means "updated".
Since the Kai series is a revision, of course the voice over of the character actors are new, same goes with the characters dialog, because some of the original voice over actors are gone now so they have to use new actors playing the same role under the same pitch of each character voices.
The series also offers new intro where it show all villains of the Dragon Ball series, and closing credits.
It is very fun to see old series with a touch of now a days technology. It is very cool combining the nostalgic feel of the series because I had watch Dragon Ball series when I was 9 (I think) and up to now that I'm working, I still can't get over watching this cool anime which I would like to note also one of the longest running anime series I ever watched.
