Minishopaholic Book review -Did you just say Mini?
this is my review about the book of Sophie Kinsella's "Minishopaholic"
There goes Mini -spoiler alert!
I have been a Sophie Kinsella's fan for quite some time now. Being a book reader that I am , I have read most of her work and have enjoyed every single of it and then I stumbled upon "Minishopaholic". At first I thought hey maybe it's all about the mini version of Becky. So the story goes at first that shows Minnie (the baby obviously) having a tantrum about wanting to buy a Pony, and then Becky , who struggles to be a good mommy by scolding her child but eventually gives in because "she- loves- Minnie- that's- why- she's- buying- it -for- her".
Sophie gave a great storyline about Minnie"s tantrums and let's just say she gets the behavior from her shopaholic mommy. It gives a reader a rich detail on how a shopaholic truly struggles to "not shop" being not a shopaholic that I am. Sometimes along the pages that I've read I have felt , irritated by Minnie's tantrum whenever she wanted a toy or a Starbuck's muffin . On the other hand, the way Becky , relieves her being shopaholic by buying things for Becky for the future is quite hilarious. I mean truly Minnie who's two years old doesn't need a dress yet for her "21st birthday".
The story also revolves around the "surprise" birthday bash that Becky survives after all the mishaps that she have gone through just to keep the birthday bash a secret by the help of Elainor who is Luke's mother.
All in all it was a fun book read, so if you want to have a good laugh of another Sophie Kinsella's book , read on to find out what everybody's been saying.
