National Game
Each and every country is having their own national game and give a lot of importance to it. In fact most of the persons who are living in a country will love their national game and interested in watching it. But sadly my country persons don't give more importance to our national game. I am from India and Hockey is our national game. We learnt it from our childhood days, but most of the persons living in India is very much interested in watching cricket than hockey.
All Indians know that Hockey is their Indian game, but sadly this game don't get popularity in our own country. A lot of hockey stars and performers are available here, but they are not very famous like the cricket players. Even a little kid have the ability to find out the popular cricketer. But old age person don't know about the popular Hockey player in our country, it is the great misery.
To change this stage, government must come forward to give a new energy to Hockey and conduct some special tournaments in Hockey and encourage the people to watch it. Lot of sponsors come forward to host cricket. This sponsors must give importance to Hockey and sponsor it. Players like Dhyan Chand are great legends in Hockey, youngsters must follow his foot steps and improve their skills in Hockey to give pride to our national game.
