Building a niche site comes with a lot of risks if you don’t pay attention to them. Talking about website content and building links, sounds easy but actually isn’t. Even then, if you plan to go with it, there are high risks to failure if you don’t follow the proper procedure of niche site building. You should know that there are minor things that if not taken care of, can cause huge impact.
Having good quality content is very important. If the content is good, there will be more chances of link building. If the links are not enough, your website can lose the rankings.
Your website can be de-indexed! If you don’t want Google to de-index your website, make sure your website is virus free. Keep your themes and plug-ins up to date.
The constant algorithm change by Google is a risk to all. If you look back, Panda update caused an effect on almost all searches by 12 percent. Since Google frequently changes their algorithm to rank websites, what if a new algorithm comes and it doesn’t rank niche websites? This is certainly a risk since Google has the authority.
