This review is regarding an agony aunt who is an expert in verbal abuse. This review reveals the true colours of this person who works behind the scenes. Any discredit has come from her 'own mouth' in a twist of fate.

Who am I to write a review, what are my credentials, I will say simply a person who in their spare time enjoys trying to help others solve their problems, some funny and some life changing however I always answer from the heart because this is where truth lives ( I believe ). I have been a volunteer agony aunt in the past iin my spare time and trained in the field of expressive arts therapies using the art's as a medium for healing.
After signing up to an advert on the web ( work from home agony aunt bla bla bla).
I decided to answer some of these problems as this is what you had to do before you would be considered for an opprtunity of a job . The ass started to see the proverbial carrot and stick.technique , which implies an incentive system in which the prize seems within easy reach but can never be attained. The source is a trick concocted by men/women who use asses as beasts of burden. They suspend a carrot from a stick tied to the back of the animal’s neck in such a way that the carrot hangs a foot or so in front of the animal’s muzzle. The stubborn ass, thinking it is within easy reach of a tasty morsel, moves forward to grasp it but, of course, never quite does. The morsel offers::

I Like the majority of people followed the proverbial carrot and stick albeit only a very short time and after a few problems answered I left it alone because it did not ring true and i could not be bothered. . I found that every so often junk emails would come through saying:

What this means is agony aunts do the work for her, and agony aunts are reminded to work even harder by answering more than they do already, or they won't stand a chance. I would guess people go to her site with a problem and pay the money to her and she gets her ass to do the work for nothing, while they are led to believe that they only answer fake problems while been tried and tested for a job.
Charlotte Craigs words: (Most sites ask you to post on their forums for well OVER A YEAR each week before they consider that you might be suitable for a menial UNPAID job with them, such as monitoring a chat room or forum, and they will not bother to contact you unless they think you are exceptional.

They do not only do it when they feel they have to.If you were going for a job interview in the usual way you would allow about an hour or so to get there, then at the very least an hour and a half, and then an hour to return home. You might allow more time if you were worried about being late because of a traffic jam or bad weather or some other problem. It would cost you money and half a day of your time. The actual job interview would take at least an hour if it is for a decent position.)
I would guess this is the build up to let her aunts know that they could be doing this for a long time before they are considered.

She is quite good at contradicting herself, one minuit she wants amatuers but when they prove that they have a brain and work her out, only proffessionals. Her othe sites state no experience or qualifications needed.
I got fed up with her spam emails after i asked to be taken off the register and then emailed her back after been inundated with pushy emails . I told her i did not like the content of her emails which were pushy domineeriing and threatening. I dare to question her about these so called jobs that don't exist and instead of a proffessional answer. I get a string of abusive emails .I recieved a few emails and the last time i recieved 3 in one day, specifically after i sent her a one line sentence asking her to stop verbally abusing me with these emails .

You came here to do a job interview. Nobody benefits from that. Nobody wants the advice of amateurs who are not qualified. The clients who come to us have a 1 2 1 session with one of our tested paid qualified staff. They are not interested in your opinion and they can get one for free if they want an amateur. That is all clear on the site. Why would anybody pay us to sort out that you advise them when you are
an amateur? They can go to amateur sites for free advice then or ask their friends and family. You are not a volunteer. You were applying for a job. Obviously you are just sour and angry because you are not worth employing. Which is hardly our fault. Our staff ge t paid very well and they are the only ones we allow to deal with actual client's letters. Do you honestly expect us to be grateful to you just because you applied for a job? EMAIL 2 Thank you for that hilarious laugh. YOU a qualified psychotherapist. You cannot even spell the word. And it is clear you are not good with people or well balanced enough to work in mental health. If you had a very good job you would not be getting annoyed that you were turned down to work with us. We have not broken the law. You are simply sour because you wanted to earn a ot of money with us and failed. A genuine psychotherapist would not care, they would be too busy running their business.Please buy yourself a dictionary and next time you wish to lie about your job spell the word correctly. Wrong again idiot. You sent us two emails demanding we write to you and being very verbally abusive to us. We have copies of them printed out. You cannot claim we abused you when you wrote worse things and wrote them first. And you are not allowed to do no win no fee for verbal harrssment either. Stupid. You know nothing of the law. We have to know the law because we get paid for advice. As for money not ruining you. You tried to get a well paid job here so you are obvously very keen on money, you are simply not bright enough to get a job where you can get the money. Everything you write in the mails you sent us was inaccurate and libellous.
Now I am telling you for your own sake go and see a psychiatrist and explain to him that you tried to get a job you are obvously not bright enough to get, lost your temper and write libellous letters to the business. Nobody sane does that. A sane person
would not apply for a job as a writer when they cannot spell. I feel very sorry for you. It is a good thing we get sane people who can spell and who are bright here applying for jobs. Really you are the sort who should be paying for advice, not making
out you can sell it.If you write again we will have another email proving you are harrassing us and it is libel sweetie. But I doubt you own a business or house or anything worth having so if someone sued you would have to go to prison instead. The usual term is 3 years.Three years in prison if you have not done it before. Five years if you make a habit of it. And all because you got angry because you did not get a job that you are clearly not good enough for. You really should check out your facts before you write a lot of drivel. My cleaner is 64 and inarticulate and she can do better than you when it comes to writing advice.

The combination of carrot and stick must surely have always referred to a mixture of reward and punishment. The image is of the animal being offered a tasty encouragement at one end while being thumped with a stick at the other. It is of the nineteenth century in English:

She always signs the words 'God Bless' after each abusive email that has to be the biggest laugh of all Ms Charlotte -ton- Graig and the biggest fraud of all.

Yes I agree too much stuff but this stuff holds the truth, 'truth is important' even though clumbsy written. It is Your choice ! to define what you class as acceptable.
My point is that in my review by using her words, she discredits herself.

I work for the site and you have left out a lot, got bits wrong and made up other bits. Firstly, you sent a lot of very nasty and abusive mails to the site when you did not get the job. Why did you apply for it? It is clear from the above that your spelling is not up to it. You were applying for a job as a writer yet you cannot spell?! How does that make sense? You could have read the frequently asked questions page. It clearly tells you there that they do not want people applying if they cannot spell etc. But surely this is common sense?! I used to write for Helium.com before I went to askagonyaunt.com. They only pay you a few cents now and then yet they would not accept your standard of writing. If you study what you have said it amounts to that you did the job interview and did not get the job and got angry. WHY? If you do not want to do a job interview then do not bother to do it. If you do want to do it then you are accepting how the site is run.
You say that you were working for free. Rubbish. You may have done a job interview but only the staff do the work.
I and the other staff members
get emails from clients and we write back to those clients one by one privately. Nobody else sees those replies and none of that goes on the site. Those clients would not pay for just anyone's advice. They are only happy to pay the site because they know it is high quality.
Your gripe seems to be that you are angry that they do not accept poor quality people as staff. You also seem to forget that if Charlotte is too busy to write back to all of the paying clients she is also too busy to read emails and reply to them.
Her staff do that.
You remind me of a little boy at school who tries to grope the best looking and bustiest girl in the class and gets angry when rejected so goes and tells the other boys that she is a frigid lesbian.

There never was a job.
If you call this agony aunt site HIGH QUALITY then your standards are very low. I have never applied for any job as a writer, i am not a writer and have never claimed to be one..however i am very very clever in my own profession and for the record I have sent no nasty emails.

Charlotte Craig who also goes under the name of Carmel Brulez can be very abusive and likes to belittle anyone who questions her. I really do not believe that her website has any paid jobs for agony aunts despite what she says. I don't know what can be done about the emails she sends you other than to make others aware of her abuse. Maybe you can write a review about her website on here and also post it on the writing site Wikinut. At least then others will be made aware to keep clear of her and not waste their time in the hope that they will get a paid agony aunt job.

For an example of the nasty emails you say i sent, if you really want me to discredit her sorry YOU!!!!!! more iI can make them public with proof of the emails sent and recieved, you see i have nothing to hide (but you do) . If you are a lap dog of Charlotte Craigs i would be a little more professional and have facts before you start talking rubbish. I only sent replies and how come you know i sent ANY??????
The whole site is trash and is driven by ego. I can assure you if i needed professional advice or therapy YOU WOULD BE THE LAST PLACE i would go for help, and I would advise anyone else to stay well clear.
I don't make out anything as you say.....I am an expressive arts therapist, Visual Artist, Professional contemporary Dancer (with Honours).Choreographer, Theatre Practitioner, poet , dance therapist AND WHATEVER ELSE I CHOOSE TO TURN MY HAND AT, not quite as dumb as you think

I now rest my case :) today a spam email slipped through the net to my inmail box ( not directly to me) however i just want the last laugh , remember how i was told repeatedly what a poor speller i was, well just take a look at these spelling mistakes she has made ( he he he) poetic justice. Here also is a copy of the CHANGES recently been made by the ask agony aunt site. I wonder why?

I am so excited about this folks.
Firstly, we decided to stop doing the paid agony aunt lessons, they were not worth our while, taking up far too much time and we were running at a loss. A similar site charges £300 per hour for such advice and we were literally giving away more valuable information for just £25 because we have trouble in getting enough good quality staff and we wanted to help people to read that standard. But we cannot neglect our paying clients so we have decided to put FREE lessons on the site for all to use. That way hopefully if you need lessons you can just read them there and become perfect for us without us neglecting our clients.
Now another great piece of news. We recently read that the Washington Post was advertising a competition for people to work for them. They would only have worked for them for a few days and of course the only way you can choose such staff is to ask them to do their stuff and prove they are the best. This is exactly what they did. They asked people tot post to fake problems to prove themselves. Of coursee, they would get a lot of publicity out of it and they would sell a lot of newspapers out of it whereas the people applying might end up just wasting their time. I am sure that if it had been a permanent position they would have posted it on our site with the other job vacancies. I am also sure that although it was only for a few days they would have high standards and not accept just anyone. We have posted some new vacancies on the site. REMEMBER you have to poest and post and prove you are better than the rest to get an exciting very well paid job with us. It!
might be a good idea to do the free tuition first.
