If you are looking for an entry-level Android phone then Samsung Gem is the one for you. It is a well-designed model that weighs 3.9 ounces. It measures 4.5 x 2.2 x 0.5 inches and is characterized by a good-looking exterior. Its angled edges look impressive. The Swype keyboard looks compact in front of the 3.2 inch touch screen. The Samsung Gem comes with 802.1lb/g Wi-Fi. It is good to know that the Gem supports 3G data speeds.
Voice quality is acceptable both in the earpiece and without it. The device is compatible with Bluetooth. You will be amazed to get six hours of talk time by way of battery life. Microphone receptivity is acceptable too. The device runs Android 2.2. You can find the microsSD card slot just at the bottom of the battery sheath. Internal memory can be accommodated in the space of 156MB. Headphone jack appears to be efficient. You will be thrilled by the presence of the music player that can be put to very good use.
