Scotty McCreery returns to Idol with third single "Water Tower Town"

Scotty McCreery will return to the American Idol Stage on Thursday March 29, 2012 to perform his third single "Water Tower Town." It is the follow up to his first 2 gold singles "I Love You This Big" and "The Trouble with Girls" and this seasons swan song "Please Remember Me."

“Water Tower Town” is a hometown song from his platinum debut album “Clear as Day." Scotty is from Garner, NC, a small town that has a big water tower across the baseball field where he grew up playing baseball (Scotty stated in an interview).

Other than singing, Scotty is a pitcher for Garner Highs baseball team. This keeps him busy alongside being a front act for Brad Paisley’s Virtual Reality Tour in which “Water Tower Town” is included in his setlist.
