Sony NEX-5R Camera
In many ways, Sony NEX-5R is similar to NEX-5N that was launched last year. It shares the same mega pixel sensor, the tilting LCD, the physical shape, size, and weight. But it is an advanced replacement for NEX-5N with a few unique features. These few features will appeal to many users of Sony NEX-5R Camera.
The first feature unique to NEX-5R is that its fast hybrid auto-focus system has 99 phase-detection AF points with a touch-shutter and touch-tracking feature. But more appealing feature is that this camera has a built-in WiFi radio. This comes with such advancement that it makes it possible to upload the images directly to social medias, to tablets and cell-phones. Furthermore, the in-camera Picture Effects are expected to be stylish with the downloadable applications.
The features in common with the previous NEX-5N is summarized in the table:
Resolution: 16.10 Megapixels
Kit Lens: 3.00x zoom, 18-55mm, (27-83mm eq.)
Viewfinder: LCD

The Sony NEX-5R Camera is reported to ship in October and the expected price ranges around $650.
