Pal-V

For a very long time people have dreamt about having the ultimate freedom, to fly! Never be stuck in traffic and be able to fly everywhere. You can do that with the Pal-V. This is a car and a gyroplane. It flies at 111,8 mph and also drives with 111,8 mph on the road.

On the road the Pal-V drives like a sports car, it turns around sharp bends and it's speed is quite fast. When you fly it is one of the most safe ways of travel and easy to control. Also you can easily just fly over a traffic jam, which can come in very handy. You can go wherever you want!

Specifications

The Pal-V has room for 2 people. Without load(or people) it weighs 680 kilogram and the maximum weight is 910 kilograms. It's not a very efficient vehicle, it drives 28.23 mpg on the road and flies at 84.68 mpg in the air. Driving the Pal-V is 745.6 miles accountable! When in air, the Pal-V is less accountable, around 217 to 310 miles. The Pal-V has a short take off and landing capability (take off length: 0.1025 miles, Landing length: Only 0.019 miles), so you can practically take off and land everywhere.

The Pal-V is especially going to be used for the police force and the military. It is also the intention that it will be used for sending mail. It also could come in handy at natural disasters. But if you wish, you can also get one. The Pal-V costs €211,500.- so you will have to be pretty rich if you want to buy one!

License

In Europe all you need to flight with the Pal-V is an Recreational Pilot License (RPL) or a Private Pilot License (PPL). In the USA you need a Sports Pilot License. It takes about 20 to 40 student-pilot lessons to learn how to fly the Pal-V. It will take about 30 minutes to get used to driving the vehicle. You will just drive/fly the vehicle for fun!

My Opinion

Pal-V

I think the Pal-V is a very good way transportation in the future. You can get practically everywhere. The vehicle also looks nice, which is a great asset. Though the Pal-V costs quite much, which can be a problem for most people. If I was rich and possessed a RPL I would definitely buy a Pal-V!
