This is the story of a dying planet and the alien who came to Earth to colonize not knowing the earth would be gone 820 years hence. A search began by astronauts to find a suitable new planet and their journey to Andromeda and then their return in a completely different form. Thanks to NASA for the pictures of space and hauntingspatial music by a group of Sardinian musicians..quite awesome.

The Film
An alien narrates the story of his dying planet, his and his people's visitations to Earth and Earth's self-made demise, while human astronauts in space...
Using NASA space pics and music by a classical Sardinian group..this is another epic by Werner Herzog
Epic Journeys beginning
For now the planet earth is dying but to it comes an Alien
From Andromeda way out in space
Hundreds of Light years did he traverse
Some Andromedlans they did come to build another world
But this happened not and what was built fell into decay
The Alien does his story tell
Whilst astronauts in their space ship do venture forth
Exploring planets worlds beyond to which man can emigrate
One day!!!
Travel for Alien and Earthman
The alien said he "we aliens all suck"
What he meant I know not
But Werner Herzog brave man is he
And tells the truth whatever it may be
Through space the astronauts travel they
Timelessness becomes a boring fact to them
They know not if they can return or where their journey ends
Whilst back on earth the Alien groans
His disgust plain to see at what the earth does offer him
And all his kind who yet have still to come
But most of all at himself for not telling NASA of the way
Through space to journey and what ahead lay
Short ways throughout the Universe
But one brave scientist find did he
Passsageways
Tunnels
Through space connecting planets, stars and universes without number
Short ways to traverse one to another
There velocity is charged
Chaotic mass a positive force throughout the universe
Thus did the astronauts now aware
Through the passageways they did go
And on Andromeda found themselves
They entered thus this dying galaxy
Now surrounded by a whitish haze
Welcomed by its inhabitants not like us for sure
But kindly
Change shapers they were in beautiful forms and delicate
Translucent objects swarming everywhere
Sounds they made like waves upon the shore
Beating one against another
Melodic noise such undertones
Making contact through these ways and many
The astronauts in their ignorant way respecting not the world of others
Did treat these waving, curving forms
With higher intelligence ever than theirs
As if they did not belong
These egocentric men as being the only ones
Who could inhabit space and beyond
(They surely are the ones that suck!)
From form into Pure Light
Taking samples of this brave new world
They then returned to earth
Back through the Tunnel of Time did go
First into particles they did dissolve
And then became they pure Light
And once on earth took many days
To resurrect into themselves
The human form
And as I say it is a fact that that is all we are just particles of matter
Strung together in perfect harmony
A mass of living Love becoming pure Light when we do dissolve
And leave this earthly realm to return to our original Home
Werner Herzog knew this too
