Katie's Hellion Book 1 Rhyn Trilogy by Lizzy Ford
Katie didn't send her boyfriend to Hell, but she's going there to bust him out!
Katie thinks she’s going crazy when a baby angel and death’s personal assistant appear on her doorstep. Both claim she’s destined for something great. If she can survive, that is. She’s drawn into a world filled with immortals like Rhyn, an outcast who claims her as his mate in a show of defiance to his brothers. Katie rescues Rhyn from Hell, and he discovers fast just how special his little human is. With Death counting his days on one hand, Rhyn must learn to love, before his own time is up and Katie becomes the first human casualty in the brewing war between immortals.
Will the love between a gifted young woman and an immortal outcast save the world-- or destroy it?
This is my favorite series. So I loved Katie. She was a straight talking, no nonsense or drama, snarky, sarcastic, roll with the punches kind of chick. In short? She rocked. She wasn't a supreme fighter or loaded with supernatural skills, or even drop dead beautiful but more of an outcast. My kind of unlikely heroine. This book covers a lot of info about both worlds, and the intermediates between, in a very entertaining and completely delightful way. When your not laughing at the twisted humor, your sitting on the edge of your seat wondering if Katie is ever going to get a break. LOL..So far...NO. Paranormal fans you don't want to miss the opportunity to check out this series.

Anna by Julia Crane
Follow Anna from Keegan's Chronicles on her own adventure!
Seventeen-year-old Anna is an unskilled, natural witch still seeking a way to access her magick. When she moves to Seattle for college, she encounters two powerful witches who need her as much as she needs them. For the first time, Anna believes she's found someone who can help her explore her own magick.
Her dream quickly turns into a nightmare.
Creatures of the Light have gone missing, and the witches she admires so well are a part of the mystery.
Before she knows it, Anna is knee deep in the disappearances and trying to forge a relationship with a certain soldier named Tommy, all while trying to find her way. Will she have time to save the creatures of the light or will she become the next victim?
In "Anna", Julia Crane takes one of the supporting characters from "Keegan's Chronicles" (her YA Fantasy series) and gives her a book of her own. This is an excellent stand alone novel that doesn't require having read the original series in order to get sucked in, but if you're fans of Keegan and Rourk you won't be disappointed as they make an appearance as well. Another great story leaving you wanting more. "Anna" is fast-paced and a fun read, recommended for teens but enjoyable for adults.

Blood Awakening (Blood Curse Series) by Tessa Dawn
A dangerous game of life, blood, and survival… Marquis Silivasi is a loner, an ancient vampire known to be merciless, harsh, and unforgiving. He has lived to see his dark twin sacrificed, his parents hunted, and the one soul he was sworn to protect destroyed by his enemy. When a mysterious female with a secret past shows up in Dark Moon Vale, her presence sets off a strange set of events: It is as if she has awakened the sleeping soul of the valley…and the Curse of Marquis’s birth.Bound to each other by primeval law, the two must forge their way through an ever growing maze of danger, deception, and destiny. They must find salvation in a world without mercy, where survival demands a chilling BLOOD AWAKENING.
If you have not read Blood Destiny, I suggest you read that then read this next. I became emotionally attached to the characters Marquis and Ciopori and my heart wrenched at the sacrifices they were faced with. At times Marquis made me think of Acheron in the Dark Hunter series. The suspense is high-octane; I was literally speed-reading to get to the outcome of several intense scenes. Warning, there is extreme, explicit, graphic violence in this book and I can understand how it might bother some readers.

Spectral by Shannon Duffy
Convinced she’s a part of the witness protection program, sixteen-year-old Jewel Rose is shuffled around the globe with her family like a pack of traveling gypsies. After arriving at lucky home twenty-seven, she stumbles upon a mysterious boy with magical powers claiming to be her guardian . . . and warning of imminent danger. Despite the obvious sparks between them, Jewel discovers a relationship is forbidden, and the more she learns about dark, brooding Roman, she begins to question who she can even believe — the family who raised her, or the supposed sworn protector who claims they’ve been lying to her all along.
As she struggles to uncover who her family has really been running from, she is forced to hide her birthmark that reveals who she is. With new realities surfacing, unexplained powers appearing, and two tempting boys vying for her heart, Jewel battles to learn who she can trust in an ever growing sea of lies, hoping she’ll make it through her seventeenth birthday alive.
Spectral is a fun ride filled with intrigue, suspicion, twists and turns, lies and betrayals, kick a$$ super powers, and most importantly, hot guys. I loved our character Jewel. She is just a teenage girl that wants to live a normal life. I love how well she handles things...well most of the time. She was smart enough not to let her family know she knows they have been lying. She is strong even when she doesn't think she is. I also love the relationship she had with her brother Jayden, they were so adorable together. He was nothing like my brother who acted like a total brat from day 1. Nonetheless, the relationship between them is very strong even though her family has been lying to her. Almost had a tear in my eye at one point when she tries to protect him. Also can't forget Taylor, the girl she quickly becomes friends with her first day of school. They may barely know each other, but they almost felt like sisters to me and that was definitely something Jewel needed.

Marked (Eternal Guardians #1)" by Elisabeth Naughton
THERON – Dark haired, duty bound and deceptively deadly. He’s the leader of the Argonauts, an elite group of guardians that defends the immortal realm from threats of the Underworld.
From the moment he walked into the club, Casey knew this guy was different. Men like that just didn’t exist in real life—silky shoulder-length hair, chest impossibly broad, and a predatory manner that just screamed dark and dangerous. He was looking for something. Her.
She was the one. She had the mark. Casey had to die so his kind could live, and it was Theron’s duty to bring her in. But even as a 200-year-old descendent of Hercules, he wasn’t strong enough to resist the pull in her fathomless eyes, to tear himself away from the heat of her body.
As war with the Underworld nears, someone will have to make the ultimate sacrifice.
If you're a fan of Greek mythology, there's an unsettling and lascivious spin to the alleged abduction of Persephone and the relationship between her and Hades is disturbing, if only because she was once the God of innocence, but this book is sexy in its own right. At first, I thought the relationship was moving way to fast and Casey seemed a doormat doing whatever Theron said, but she managed to pull out of that enchantment just in time. This was a very fast read, and well written.
