Xara3D6 Review -Design Like the Pros
How amateurs can design 3D text and animation like the pros on a limited budget.
Xara3D6 is a WYSIWYG designing program. Not only can you design professional looking 3D text, but you can add great animations to your designs. The user interface is very user friendly, and even without reading the instructions, I was able to figure out exactly what to do after only a few clicks of the mouse.
Not only is it easy to use, but at only $39.99 it is very affordable for amateur designers that want to create professional looking designs, but don't have the know how or the budget. By visiting the Xara website, you can download a trial version of the Xara3D6 along with other various Xara products for free.
Textures and Shading
It also allows you to add a variety of different textures and shading to your text. There are numerous preloaded templates included in the software package or you can use an image that is saved from your computer. You really are only limited by your imagination and creativity. Xara3D6 gives you the option of saving as either JPEG, BMP, or GIF.
Unique Text Shapes
You can also create unique business logos using one of the many templates included in your software package. By using Xara3D6, you will be able to design professional looking logos and text graphics even if you don't have any previous designing experience or training.
Xara3D6 also allows you to create stunning 3D animations. Just with a few clicks of the mouse, you can have a professionally design animated text. There are numerous animations to choose from. You can also adjust their speed and rotation according to your needs. This allows you to create unique designs each and every time. You can save your designs in either GIF animation, AVI, or Flash depending on which best suits your needs.
While Xara3D6 is great in so many ways, there were a few things I did not like. If you're looking to make a great 3D text or text animation then Xara3D6 is the way to go, but it really is only good for text. It doesn't work that well with images. If you want to add an image to the background, then you're pretty limited in what you can do with that image. You are also limited as to where you can place text upon that image.
Other than that I have to say there really isn't any other disadvantages. While this isn't really suited for professional designers, it is perfect for an amateur just starting out who wants to add professional looking 3D text designs to their work but doesn't have the knowledge of how to go about designing it on their own.
