Google Glass

Google Glass is a wearable computer with an optical head mounted display. It is developed by Google. It allows user to see information in the head up display and allow the user to communicate with it by voice commands. In its present form it looks like a pair of eyeglasses with the lenses missing. Over one eye there is a heads up display, where a user can see the information.
As per analysts and various sources Google Glass will be officially launched in 2014 and Google may partner with sun-glass makers Ray-Ban and Warby Parker. It will also be redesigned to make it look more like eyeglasses. Some of the features it will be having is taking photos and recording videos by blinking and it will also display to the user the social feeds of the person with whom he is interacting.

iWatch

iWatch is the fabled wearable tech from Apple. It has been a constant subject of various rumors since late 2012. Some features which are been talked of are NFC and live social media feed. Also a user can view mails and sms on the device. The NFC will be used to unlock cars to main doors of houses.

Bluetooth Gloves

While using a glove during the winter or riding a bike it is quite tedious to use a smartphone. So BEARTek created a Bluetooth enabled glove that can communicate with smartphone. It has got 6 touch points which can be used to answer calls, disconnect calls and also can control music. It is also supposed to have an integrated speaker and mouth piece in the end of the tiny finger and thumb so that it work as a make shift head phone.

Power Generating Shoes

This idea may seem too far fetched, but the prototypes are already out. Its basic concept generating power by turning the kinetic and heat energy generated from walking and running into electrical energy. This electrical energy is stored in batteries which will be used to charge mobiles, iPods and even laptops.

All in all 2014 is going to be pretty exciting for tech lovers.
