Discount Shopping on Brand Names. What to expect from B&M Bargains.

What is B&M Bargains all about?

B&M has nearly 300 stores throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, with new stores opening every few months. They sell a wide range of products at discount prices, including seasonal goods, gifts, home & living, health & beauty, toys & games, food & drink, clothing & footwear, pets and leisure.

Their products are all top brand names and are sold at a big discount off the R.R.P, which is very attractive in today's difficult financial economy.

What can you buy at B&M Bargains?

You couldn't do an entire weeks grocery shop at B&M's, but by buying certain products there instead of at your usual grocery store, substantial savings can be made. I purchase many brand named grocery items from theirs stores, including coca-cola, toilet roll, bread and milk, crisps, biscuits, stock cubes, mayonnaise, Marmite, tea-bags, pasta sauce, toiletries and many other items.

They also sell a range of alcohol: cider and lager, wine, shots, cocktails and spirits, although the range is somewhat limited. As well as cans and bottles, they also sell novelty packed drinks, such as a 75cls of wine in a giant plastic glass, pre-made cocktails in a cocktail shaker, shots in test tubes and many more.

In addition to their grocery products, their other items are of reasonable quality, though some are not the best as they are of fairly low quality. You get what you pay for! They sell a large range of seasonal goods including gardening goods such as seeds, plant pots, canes and netting, ornaments and decorations. They stock Easter, Halloween and Christmas goods at the appropriate times of the year.

There is a wide ranges of children's toys, for all ages. They have top brand names such as Fisher price and MB, with prices from under £1 to £70++. These reduced prices make these toys great value for gifts at any time of the year, especially at Christmas time.

In conclusion, would I recommend B&M Bargains?

B&M Bargains is a cheap and cheerful store, but the staff are mostly polite and helpful, both for sales and returns. There is no guarantee that any product you buy this week will be available next week, but there is usually an alternative. Overall, I've found this shop to be of excellent value and would recommend it as a good place to save money.
