A review of the German Market thats in Birmingham

Birmingham German Market 2011

You know when Christmas is on its way, simply because the German Market rolls in to town!

To be fair the German Market is actually quite nice to visit and there are some really nice stalls, and good food to enjoy, sadly the beer is quite expensive but it's still enjoyable .

The German Market this year is even bigger than before, and theres even a Coupple of fair ground rides and chances to win some nice prizes however I havent actually seen many people walking round with giant stuffed teddies that are main prizes on the games stalls.

There's plenty of stalls to buy Christmas presents, gifts range from coats, hats, games, sweets, traditional toys, wax candles and loads more, some things at the market are quite expensive but you really have to look for the real bargains.

The atmosphere is lovely, Although if you go on a weekend you will get pushed about by fellow shoppers, but this don't stop people from fulling enjoying the market.

Food wise there are stalls such as garlic mushrooms and potatoes , German bratwurst sausages , pancakes, cheese stalls, sweets, pork scratchings, spit roast pork for pork sandwiches, and loads more

Drinks stalls include mulled wine tents, hot chocolate with a choice of alcoholic extra eg baileys ect, soft drinks for children / or tee total adults and there is of course German beer tents

If you get the chance to visit Birmingham City Centre you really need to check out the German Market

And yes, there is a singing Moose at the beer tent who sings in several lanuages !

That all sounds like so much fun. Some things may seem expensive, but I guess you have to pay for quality.
