This book is a different sort of book that what it might first appear to be.

With a title like, "God I Am", you might expect it to be speaking out with some authority on the subject matter at hand.

You would not be wrong about this. The author does talk in a way that seems to convey his own knowing.

Do not be afraid he says, "For all that is, IS YOU."

The book, and its main message

"Everything that exists is Love in one form or another. Our supply is a direct reflection of our ability to give love, and to give with love."

"If love is not extended it cannot fulfil its own nature, which IS extension. Love in the heart of man, when not extended, shrivels up, recoils within itself."

"To love something in this world as True perception would, we have to love everything alike, meaning we grant every thing an equal right to be. Then we may have our preferences, but still evaluate all as expressions of love."

These great quotes about love are taken from page 186 in his book.

On an earlier page, page 154, he tells us how to love, like this:

"The rise beyond judgment allows love to enter."

If we can stop judging others entirely, we would be full of love, and love fully. The way to love, is merely to stop judging others, and to let them be themselves!

Judgement comes from exhibiting a lack of love, because to judge another person is to try to block them into fitting into something other than complete love.

You try to fit their block into your idea of love, instead of allowing love to be free to fit them into the place where they are meant to be fitted.

You box them into your own judgment, and thus you stop loving them because you love them through your own lens then, rather than loving them through God's eyes, without any lens then at all.

"When we are judging everything, we are learning nothing."

So said another author, Steve Maraboli, and I, and the author of the book I am reviewing would sure agree with him here too, I'm sure.

The book talks about other way-out there stuff too

The author also talks about some other rather heady stuff too in his book.

He talks about for instance the photon belt, first discovered in 1961, that circles the Pleiades constellation, or cluster of stars.

Our own star, the sun, orbits the Pleiades once every 25,860 years. It takes about 2,000 years for our sun to traverse, or to travel across it. After we leave it, it takes a further 10,500 years before our solar system will enter it again. In the year, 1962, we entered the sphere of influence of this photon belt.

The guy reckons that all of this will bring us into some higher energy vibration that he calls the "Manasic vibration". He theorises that this higher vibration will help lift us into a higher consciousness, which he refers to as super-consciousness.

Maybe you are now thinking what type of a fruitcake is this guy really then?

I too, would probably have thought this once also myself, except for the fact that one psychic lady, in giving me a reading once, told me that I was one of something that she called, "The Star Children."

She claimed that I came from this star system too, the Pleiades!!

The Star child may be defined as a child with both human and extra-terrestrial origin. They are usually introverts. They do not normally like touch (being touched), or groups (being in groups).

Apparently then, the stars influence us in more ways than which Astrology limits them to doing (as just the planets here in our Solar system being the only/major influencers on us), every star affects you. We are made from star dust.

We all had past lives on other planetary systems, even as I myself have once recalled one of mine, as being on another planet, in another star system to this one.

I was a scientist there, who died from radiation poisoning, when I was trying to save some of the other inhabitants of that planet from dying from the radiation fallout there, after a nuclear war had taken place. I was transferring their brains into metal robot-like bodies, so that at least these few could survive. I could not save myself though.

Not all of these planets vibrate within the same solar vibration as this solar system though. God wears a different photon belt in each galaxy, so to speak.

A problem is not a problem cured, when it's only a symptom dealt with!

This writer tells us not to deal with symptoms either. If we try to fix the symptom, the symptom is merely moved, or shifted, and its real cause is left un-healed.

The problem now must come again, perhaps now in another form. All problems are sent to try to heal the problem of separation from love.

A problem contains its own answer within itself.

Any problem though does not need to be solved. It's a condition, an environmental set-up that gives us the best chance to learn that which we need most to learn right now.

The condition is there to help us to change our attitude, or our perception about the condition.

There is no conflict, no need to fight against any conditions that we find ourselves under. We simply must use them as stepping stones to help us to move up past them, and to allow better conditions to develop themselves due to our increased understanding of what love has brought to us from these set-ups.

In other words we now learn what we were meant to learn. This frees us from these current conditions to allow us to move on to the next.

"Attitude is everything."

This quote from Diane von Furstenberg, a Belgian-born American fashion designer, might be a slight exaggeration of course, but its underlying message should not be ignored.

Without the right attitude, we miss out on seeing the truth behind what love is always sending us. We do not learn our lesson, and so we only see the problem, not the love behind it.

Don't write off reading this book because of that last section!

This book was first published back in 1991, by Triad Publishers.

The book opens with this thought:

Ask not: Who or what is God?

Ask: Who or what is he not?

The book is readily available from sites such as

The book contains much wisdom between its pages. It is 239 pages long.

The author also talks about the problem of fear.

"...humanity is continually encouraged to believe in the reality of fear. You see, if we would let go of fear, we could not be controlled."

How do we conquer our fears?

"We define our problem and give it unto God I AM, our real SELF, and then let go. Once we do this we must not interfere, however much the situation temps us to manipulate and to 'pull strings. What we are really doing by giving the problem to our SELF is this: we are handing it over by saying" 'Father - I step aside - You lead the way'. To then let go, means we perfectly trust."

The author thinks that our main problem is that we each think that our own picture of the way things are is the whole picture.

We must come to realise that our picture is only one view of the whole. We must collectively re-combine all of our views, and work together, not apart, if we are ever to move away from our imbalanced wrong perceptions, caused by us trying to hold onto only our own pictures of reality. Doing this is what judgment is he says.

"Judge not, that ye be not judged."

says the Christian bible, in Saint Matthew's gospel, chapter 7, and verse 1.

If we all judged less, we could all love more!

This sounds like an interesting book and there are others that teach a similar truth. We are indeed entering a new age or should I say we have already entered. I doubt if we would recognize the world fifty years from now. Hopefully it will be be much better for everyone not just a select few. Blessings.

thanks Kingwell,

this guy has very firm ideas about all of this, perhaps too radical for some, but his book is a great read, to enliven and to broaden our thinking.

You have reviewed the book in such a way to give me the urge/push to read it. I hope I can, Spirited.

We are progressing by way of science and technology, but maybe regressing in the way we behave. It is time for a turn for the better in our consciousness. Let us stop fighting, leave it to our "driver" to take care of us, and enjoy the ride! siva

Good point siva. I believe the "driver" will never leave his seat despite all of the squabbles in his bus. It will eventually take us to where he is taking us too, one way or another!

This is book has all the answers to everything. I read and read sections which gives me more depth of understanding. It expands on Lester Levenson's written experience and autobiography - a person who went on a journey from nearly dead to 100% healed and total love of all in 3 months.
Ober's book is amazing on ever page! A must read for anyone on the journey.
