An examination of the site called Bubblews and its High Payment Rate and actual Payouts

Hmmmmm?

I heard about Bubblews and as a person suffering writing site addiction could not stop myself from joining.

Having been bitten so many times I developed a strategy for joining.

This is because my motto; when it sounds too good to be true it isn't true tends to operate at inceptions.

Bubblews - The Pay

According to the site, the bottom line is 1c per every view.
Yes, 1c per view...not Click.

The Minimum Pay Out is $25.00.
Okay.

According to the Math if 100 hits is 100 cents. ($1.00) then 2500 hits would be $25.00

But according to Bubblews that isn't your only source of revenue.

Word For Word

This is exactly what Bubblews says;

We split the ad revenue we make off each post with the author 50/50.
You will get paid for every view, comment, like/dislike and social media
share that your posts gather. Write Your World. Speak Freely.
Join the movement. The time of not sharing revenue with the very
people who create your content is OVER! Bubblews.

I'll wait while you re-read that.

These are the Numbers

Above is an image put forward by Bubblews.
Below are figures I've copied from my Account.

8 - Posts

0 - Dislikes
277- Views
11 - Comments
3.23 $ - Revenue

At the time of writing I had posted 8 Articles.
and had 277 views.
And according to the site; I have made $3.23.

This is after my first (AND ONLY) Pay Out.*
*(I will spell thi out later)

How Much Work ?

You don't need photographs, images, or any fancy doo-dads.
You don't need to put items in Bold.
You don't need to Link any other articles.
You don't have a Moderator who decides whether or not
you get a 'Star' and are 'Featured'. or are shoved
into oblivion...(btw Wikinuts; my 3 Top earners here were denied Stars)

Hey! Sounds Too Good To be True!
IT IS.

Quality?

Okay.

The quality of the items are questionable.
Most of the 'writers' are from the Phillipines, Malaysia etc. and their use
of English would get them 'D's in a Junior High School.

This is not the point.
The point is not to write great prose, the point is to run a Scam.
To be able to show how many thousands of hits/views so as to get Advertisers to pay the premium price, and then keep most of the Revenue.

Keep most of the Revenue as most of the Contributors are not in America so can be ripped off with impunity.

Rules

Currently the Rules are;

We have the right to remove (and not pay out) any account that partakes in the conduct listed below:

1. Submitting content that you did not write yourself. Copying content from other websites around the internet is stealing and Bubblews will never pay you for that.

2. Abusing our likes/views/comment system by partaking in exchange groups and requesting for them through other Bubblews' members.

3. Utilizing Traffic Exchange, Bots, Proxies, Virtual Private Network and other forms of IP manipulation is stealing from Bubblews.

4. Submitting posts that only contain pictures and/or containing very limited text is prohibited as this is not content our advertisers like to pay for.

5. Posting Pornographic/semi-pornographic images and/or content to Bubblews.

6. Posting LESS THAN 400 characters per post.

7. Posting material not written in English (Only exception is if you supplement your post with an English translation).

Which means when you request a Payout, those who dispense the funds will take a look at your work.

Yes, But is it a Scam?

YES.
Bubblews IS a Ponzi.
You know what that is.

You get paid the first time, run around and tout the site, then, when your second payment is due, you don't get it.

You wait and wait and wait, and don't get it.

There may be lots of reasons why you aren't paid, but you don't know them, because the Owners don't communicate with you.

You can write an email every day, asking about your payment, and they don't even get an automated response.

The strategy in joining such a site:

1) Join using an American proxy server and claim to live in America.

2) Publish no more than 10 unimportant items, and make a lot of comments on other people's work.

3) As soon as you hit $25.00 ask for your payout.

Don't Publish another article until you get that Payout...But Comment, Comment, Comment.

After you get your first Pay Out, (about a week later or so) considering you have used an American I.P. publish a few more items on a kind of schedule of no more than three a week. Keep checking your bank and Comment, Comment, Comment.

When your Bank is like $20.00 up your schedule of publishing to get that $25 and go for your next pay out.

In many cases, you won't get it, (although you are 85% more likely to get it using an I.P. in America than your local).

If you do get it, don't become complacent.

Keep to your Comment style, and publish as few items as you can.

If you don't get that 2nd Pay out; write to Support, complain on site, whatever theatrics you desire.

But remember...
90% of your pay is for commenting on other people's work.
This is a nice thing to do anyway.

Its all very well, but 50% of the writers are not paid. These are real stats and can't be explained. All I can say is that Bubbles is following a devilish strategy.

I know that after you put in for a payment, they NOW check your account.
Unlike other sites which either check before publication or shortly after, they go over your account when you ask for $$

I know a few people who have written on Expertscoloum about not being paid, then have returned to say that they have been paid....
So I know there is a delay.

I am very chary about taking the reports of people I don't know and more apt to use my own experience and that of those I know for I am aware that a lot of users of Bubblews have been engaged in sharp practices...

They have used article pingers, they have engaged in exchange clicks so that they didn't really get 1000 views.

I would hold off final judgement a bit longer...

Thank you kaylar for the informative review. From many reviews I read about Bubblews, I find it to be a legitimate site to write and earn.

I don't believe the owners/editors were clear enough about how they 'review' the work.

Instead of before publication which seems 'knee jerk', they do it before payout.

So all the review happens after you make the request.

What can be done too is you can republish your own works there - for example your Wikinut article, and then LINK to the article - hopefully getting a view.
Copying from others is totally forbidden as it is on every site.

I wonder if people know that Bubbles has no customer service and they NEVER reply. I wrote 12 emails over a period of 30 days without a reply. I am not the only one as tens of comments can be seen on this subject on the site itself.

That is so true....
They don't even send you an automated acknowledgement.

I heard that...and I wrote...
I don't know Madan...I know Buzz had problems, but they were corrected.
And the fact is, if one waits to the last minute to check an account...it is going to lead to a great bottle neck and a lot of annoyance...
I'd keep trying Madan...
cause I know some people complained alot, then everything went through.

May be, they can add a limit on number of posts per day, les than 10 as of now, and introduce a limit on number of comments, the way Mypage5 used to work. And I would prefer reviewing posts before publishing.

Ptrikha.....I think it's an easy way to discourage idiots from publishing crap. Let them kill themselves posting and then when they get nothing maybe they'll stop.

Sally Connors...so far 1c per view is the highest...

I put in for a payment, I was alerted that such was pending and would be pending until 8 May.

I have checked my account, the payment cleared.

Now It DID TAKE about ONE WEEK from I put in for the payment until the money actually became MINE.

This delay is due to:
1) having to check my account to assure that;
a) I did reach the $25.00 payout.
b) That I did not breach any of the publishing rules
c) that my payment was queued to the payment date
d) that payment was sent on the date, and then the echeck verified.

Hence, my view is that the 'delays' are explanable and not sinister.

Great information! Thanks for sharing. It is interesting to see that some Wikinut moderators also write for the other sites. I wonder how many sites you need to write for to make even $20 monthly. Of course, I'm just waiting for the perfect editor/publisher/millionaire to admire my writing and snatch me up -- like everyone else, yes? ;)

You can make $25 monthly on Bubblews.
Firstly, write, publish, network. Then go and read other work and leave comments.
People will respond, view and leave comments on your work.
You answer the comments which often lead to 'forums'.

There are many articles on Bubblews which are slightly longer than this comment which have gained googals of views and comments.

But Those articles are usually either published by Shills/Touts, by Newbies, and/or special folk.

You, publishing the greatest possible article may not get very many views...at least you will not see very many views.

Just a little update...after the first pay out, the delay gets longer between request and payment.

There is no customer service so you can email your life away.

And due to traffic the site is off line a lot more often.

However...I'm going to give it another week....

I was not paid for my 2nd redemption. I had, between putting in for my first payment and receiving it, posted about 6 articles. After I received the first payment, I posted about 8 more articles. I put in for redemption and did not get it.

I continued to pick up a few pennies on what I had written, on comments I had made and am about $2.00 from my 3rd redemption.

Not having gotten my 2nd I don't have much expectation.

I know you will find Shills shrieking about their 12th payout...but in every Ponzi some people aree paid.
