Everybody has one of those favorite places, where they know they're never going to have a bad dining experience and they want to stop in, every day. In my case, the Burrito Stop, of Amarillo, Texas, is that place. I want to share them with you.

You're welcome, in advance.

Where can you find the Burrito Stop, of Amarillo, Texas?

If you're in Amarillo, Texas and you want to visit this wonderful eatery, they're at 114 SE 9TH Street. They're open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. most days, with the exceptions of possibly Saturday, when they might close at 2 p.m. if they're not busy and, they're closed Sundays.

To be on the safe side, you can always call them at 806-418-2705 to make sure they're open, for any special large orders or questions.

How are the prices at the Burrito Stop, in Amarillo, Texas?

The prices at the Burrito Stop are reasonable. I've always had a decent meal, without breaking myself there. I won't list any specific prices, since market conditions can change, of course. But, customers here will get more for their money than you might expect from so-called fast food.

How would the employees rate at the Burrito Stop?

They're classy and friendly. What more needs to be said? They seem to have a genuine smile, not because they're required to but, because they're happy people, who enjoy what they do. They always make me feel welcome and comfortable.

Everyone from the cashier, to the cook, to management here makes sure you get exactly what you're wanting and they do it fairly fast. Even for not being what you might call "fast food," these folks do not waste time or keep you waiting.

Ambience and atmosphere? How is theirs?

I've never seen a speck of anything on the floor and everything is where you might expect it to be. The decor is a Mezo-American style but not overdone. The Burrito Stop is as good of a place for business meetings as it would be for a lunch date with that special someone.

Of course, bring the kids, too. The Burrito Stop is very family-friendly.

Of course, how is the food at the Burrito Stop?

They offer both a "breakfast burrito" and a "lunch burrito," in a "mix and match ingredients" style. Both options are incredibly delicious and reasonably priced.

This is one of the few places I can go into and just tell them, "Surprise me." I've never regretted it here, even once. Everything they make is exquisite and I'd always take their recommendations. Give them a try for yourself and see what I mean.

My overall rating of the Burrito Stop in Amarillo, Texas

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd have to give them a solid 9. And, it's only this low since their hours don't always suit mine. Otherwise, I can't imagine anyone doing food - especially burritos - better. I highly recommend you try the Burrito Stop, here in Amarillo, Texas.
