Read on to understand more about the curse of the film. Draw your own conclusions about believing or not this curse. The film was a big hit and fascinates for its history of terror.

The curse found in "Poltergeist" is real?

In the story, the little girl Carol Anne disappears, swallowed up into another dimension by evil entities. But his family can mysteriously talk to her through an unsigned TV channel. They discover that the house in which they live was built on the site of an ancient Indian burial ground, and being attacked by "spirits" of the dead.

If there was a curse or not, no one is sure. However, there were even violent deaths or suffered much of the trilogy actors. Dominique Dunne, who was the older sister Carol, was strangled by her jealous boyfriend and died after a few days in a coma, the year of the launch of the first film. Julian Beck, who played a reverend, died of stomach cancer during the course of the second film - and shortly after its release, Will Sampson, who played the Indian Taylor, died from complications of heart surgery.

The death of the protagonist

But no deaths yields more news that the little Heather O'Rourke. The little girl, who played Carol Anne in the three films of the franchise, fell ill shortly after the filming of "Poltergeist III": vomited a lot and fainted and suffering cardiac arrest because of an intestinal problem that had since birth. Taken to hospital died because of a medical error, with only 12 years old.

There were rare stories of such curse. JoBeth Williams, actress who made the Carol Anne's mother paper reported that for a long time while shooting, the pictures on the walls of your home appear crooked when she came home from work. She the acertava and the next day, it happened all over again. True or not, most of the cast would not even participate in the third film of the franchise.

Anyone who believes in the curse indicates a possible reason: instead of plastic skeletons for scenes where the bodies of buried indigenous appeared, the production opted for something cheaper: real bones, provided by a medical company. Because of this, many believe that the old "owners" of the bones haunted and punished those involved in the filming.
