Homemade pizza, or shop bought pizza - which is the best? Read this review to find out which is the best.

Which is the best homemade pizza, or shop bught pizza?

Pizza is a firm family favorite, and can be a very nice complete meal with a side salad.
But which is the best - homemade pizza or shop bought pizza?
We all love pizza but do we actually spend that much tasting the food we eat?

Many people are now so busy that they just put something on the table, not even thinking about how it tastes or how it is made.

Shop bought pizza

Shop bought pizza can be very convenient but what are you actually eating?
After all the recent food scandals people are becoming more and more concerned about food. Many convenience foods contain highly processed foods, and cheap meat products. Hopefully your pizza topping will not be horse meat but you never know.
Often the meat on a pizza is from the cheaper off cuts, and can also be a mix of meats even though it says mince, or chicken.
Monosodium glutamate, or MSG, is a common ingredient in shop bought pizzas.
MSG is an artificial flavor enhancer, and it can cause severe allergic reactions.

Also the cheese on shop bought pizza is a cheap mix or brand. A lot people do complain about the taste less cheese on pizzas.
The upside is that shop bought pizzas are cheap, but we really need to ask ourselves if this is really true.

Homemade pizza

Homemade pizza is not difficult to make, and you can buy ready made pizza dough.
If you are not a fan of ordinary pizza dough, you can also use puff pastry.
Pizza is really all about the delicious topping, and with home made pizza you can make sure it is not only delicious, but nutritious.

Pizza is quite simply topped by tomato pure' which is available in all good supermarkets.
Once your have rolled out your dough, and topped your pizza with some tomato pure',
you can use your creativity.
There are some great easy toppings for pizza, and you can start by adding some sliced
mushrooms, onions and sliced tomatoes. Some spicy Spanish chorizo sausages make a great addition, or you can use ham and pineapple for a more tropical pizza.
If you are not a meat eater don't worry. Both salmon and tuna make great toppings,
or you can go for the vegetarian option.
Finish with some nice Cheddar cheese, and add some spices such as oregano, pepper
and perhaps even some garlic.

It takes about ten minutes to prepare the pizza, and ten minutes to cook it in the oven.
Now have a think . . . which is the best option?

I will go for homemade pizza. Homemade food contain one ingredient missing from shop bought ones; love. Homemade foods are made with love while shop made foods are made with profit in mind.
