Juice=Juice, a unit newly formed last February 3, 2013, will give us some "sense of youth sizzles". Let's check them out!

The Formation

This group was announced during the Bravo! Concert of Hello!Project, consisting the members: Miyazaki Yuka (宮崎由加; Peach); Kanazawa Tomoko (金澤朋子; Apple); Takagi Sayuki (高木紗友希; Lemon); Otsuka Aina (大塚愛菜; Orange); Miyamoto Karin (宮本佳林; Grape); Uemura Akari (植村あかり; Melon).

The unit's name was revealed as "Juice=Juice" pronounced as "Juusu=Juusu" in Japan and was said that each members will represent a fruit. All of the members are Hello!Project Kenshuusei except for one which is was from Green Fields unit.

Tsunku, the producer, named it with the hope that it would be a unit that was fresh and full of personality forever. Still, the fact that it is not bright and cheerful childish, it is a good stretch while mature, cool and can produce a sense of youth sizzle and he said that juice=Juice concept is cool and sexy.

Members

All members are said that they previously failed an audition. The oldest member is from the Green Fields unit Miyazaki Yuka. There's no official leader so far and since the group is still unstable, the members might be decreased or increased or changed depending on their development as a group. Just like what happened to S/mileage which was a group also consists of H!P Kenshuusei.

I watched their video where they are currently learning out their 1st song, and I can really see their potentials to be united as one and I'm hoping that Tsunku will not change the members' line-up since everyone's already happy and satisfied with the members.

The fruits are one of the easy identification of the girls especially if you are still a new fan. The group's name, members, and other important details will be revealed when this unit's finally ready for their major debut.

First Indie Single "Watashi ga Iu Mae ni Dakishimenakya ne"

Juice=Juice's first indie single "Watashi ga Iu Mae ni Dakishimenakya ne" (Hug Me Before I Ask you to) was performed for the first time during the Hinamatsuri Festival last March 2 and was pre-released last March 31 and nationwide last April 3.

The song was just like what Tsunku defined the unit; a mature, cool and can produce a sense of youth sizzle. After a minute when the group's formation was announced, fans would surely thought that they'll have energetic and cute songs. But it was totally the opposite to what we expect at first and it's in a very good way.

The dance shot shows the abilities of the members and some of them caught my eye when they started dancing. The line distribution of the song was fairly fine and I can say that the members really got the potential to perform. This indie single was said to be the Highest Selling indie single in the Hello!Project history.

2nd indie single: Samidare Bijo ga Samidareru

The 2nd indie single of Juice=Juice "Samidare Bijo ga Samidareru" (SA-MI-DA-RE girl It's crazy) was pre-released during the Hello! Pro Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2013 ~Haru no Koukai Jitsuryoku Shindan Test~ last May 5 and It will only be sold through the H!P Shop and e-LineUP! on May 8, 2013.

In this song, we can really feel the "Sense of youth sizzle" and I felt like I'm having goose bumps while listening to the song. The subs are distracting the viewers a little while watching the MV. I'm still picking the 1st single than this one if we're talking about the MVs. But the overall is pretty much have a potential.
