Do you have a weak spot in any subject? Are you afraid that you would fail badly in any subject? Well, now you need to fear no more!
Khan Academy is here to help!

About the Owner

Khan Academy is an online learning site managed by Bangladeshi-American national Salman Khan or 'Sal'.
Salman has earned three degrees from Massachusett, USA. He originally began tutoring his relatives in maths but when others began seeking his help, he decided to upload his teaching online to the world.
Currently, Salman's Youtube-based teachings have earned more than ninty-thousand views and his teachings have spread throughout Facebook too.
That is how Khan Academy was found

The Academy

Khan Academy holds a variety of subjects such as Biology, Trigonometry, Calculus, Physics etc.
Each one these subjects are sub-divded into more topics concerning the main topics.
Each link consists of a Youtube video of which its time limit ranges from around ten minutes to around 20 minutes.

The best part about the website is that you won't need to read any long, boring text about how babies are born or how magnets work. Since each link leads to a Youtube video, Sal himself teaches you the topic you selected in perfect American English thus, making it understandable. To make his teachings more understandable, Sal draws them out, marking every important point for elaboration.

Also, the academy offers you a chance to try out exercises for yourself to see if you get enough practice. However, you need to be a member to do that.
But don't worry. Watching videos on Khan Academy is free for everyone, whether they are a member or not.

An Example

I was having trouble understanding the topics diffusion and osmosis which fall under the topic biology.
So, I decided to visit Khan Academy to see if it would help.
And it did!

Above is a screenshot of the Youtube video I was watching to understand the topics so as to give you an idea of how Sal teaches.
The picture may look confusing but don't worry, I took the snapshot during the middle of the video.
Sal always takes it slow at a time. In my case, he just draws a simple container with water molecules inside and briefly describes diffusion first. Then he includes more containers and sugar molecules and moves onto osmosis. But he does it one at a time so anyone can understand it. As you can see from the picture, the video is ninteen minutes long so Sal has enough time to include every detail without any rush.

Let's Start Learning!

So, what are you waiting for?
Want to be successful in banking?
Want to be an expert in Algebra?
Want to be a first-class doctor?
Want to surprise your teacher in acing tests of the subject(s) you have failed in for so long?
It's all possible when you learn from Khan Academy!

Have fun!
