One of the underrated album from jazz genius. But,on this album,he is still Miles Davis.

They say, this is not jazz, but, what is jazz?

When i'm working something on my computer,i usually listen music. And,that music is mostly jazz. Before couple of days i was reading some review here, and,in that review,i say that i don't like smooth jazz. For me,true jazz is fusion jazz. And,as you may guess,i prefer king of fusion jazz, like Miles Davis,or similar to him.He is well known for his "Bitches Brew"album, that established fusion jazz, but,i like to talk today for some other album, that he make after long hiatus,in 1981.I would like to talk about his "The Man with the Horn".Now,if you are Miles Davis fan,you will probably agree with others, that, not many people like his later music. And,i have impression, that,'The Man with the Horn",was not his best album. Why is that?Well,he make album after long hiatus, and,i think,on this album ,he try to explore some other area that he never did before. Also he try,as usual for him,to play with young jazz players. And,at the end this album is probably not jazz fusion, but, funk jazz. For that,he probably must thanks to his bass player Marcus Miller. But,listenning this album, with more than 30 years space in time,i disagree from most people that they hate this album. If it's funk, that's not mean this album is bad. It's only quiet, and, relaxing.Maybe i'm subjective, but,i do like musician to be different,on every album. All in all,if i can give some stars from 1 to 10 to this album,i will say that this album deserve solid 7.
P.s.-For those of you that you don't know,behind Miles Davis,on this albums are,Bill Evans,Mike Stern,Barry Finerty,Markus Miller,Al Foster,and,Sammy Figueroa
