The Stray Kites are an Indie band consisting of two untalented youths from Broad Run High School (probably because they couldn't find more idiots to join the band). Consisting of Junior Rosoboro, and Max Detrich, these two untalented youths are a disgrace to the world of music, if you're mediocre enough to categorize them in this section. I'm only being nice.

Junior, who is refered to as JR, likes to create idiotic comments about everything, which unleashes the fact that he has a high immaturity level. Telling people that there is a trombone in his guitar case, he likes to gain attention by trying to prove other people stupid, ironically. But hey, don't judge a musician on his retarded personality.

Now moving onto their music, JR likes to have a very negative and ridiculous output on many things. This includes his "friends," other local bands, and anyone in general but himself. His cockiness about creating generic 3 chord songs with simple verses and choruses extends his ego to the deap reaches of the universe. This is why he is often looked down upon not only as a musician, but as a person in general. He does everything himself, and keeps a bongo player, which he refers to as his drummer, Max Detrich.

Junior likes to make comments about how others' music sound horrible, but he fails to see his own misery and frustration that provokes him to do this. Yes, they are getting quite popular locally, but hey, Justin Bieber has the most views on Youtube right? That just goes to show you.

I don't reccomend listening to the Stray Kites' music, or immature comments, or associating with them in any manner.I'm sure that any musically educated critic would say the same.

I don't know how you got to know all of these things about the Stray Kites, but I just looked them up after this article and... they're rather good. Exceptional (for high school students at least (where one can get away with being immature)). It sounds like Stray Kites are rotten, especially "JR", but at least their music is good and smart.

A friend of mine served as a source for this article, but he asked to not be named within it. If you want to listen to real music, join the pages of "Exasper8" and "Destruction of Leviathan" on Facebook. Both of these great local bands are releasing outstanding albums. (for now they only have joke songs out). But I've heard a preview, and they sound great! Stray Kites create extremely generic music.

I live in loudoun county about 20 minutes from ashburn. I had never heard of this band before, and I have been around the NOVA music scene quite a bit throughout my 10 years as a musician, and I understand why. Seems like a lot of bands coming from the ashburn area tend to suck these days. most of it is horribly generic and unoriginal, even the so-called "metal" music (*coughdeathcorecoughscenekidscoughcough*).

...and people ask me why I'd rather be living abroad?

JH, you are quite right. But there are actually two metal bands from the area coming out with an original sound. So far, they've only released joke songs, but I got a sneak preview on their soon-to-be-released albums, and they sounded quite original. So I'd say check out, and join the Facebook pages of "Exasper8", and "Destruction of Leviathan." I am actually interviewing them soon.

Heidi, I am I am referring to "bad" as "generic." Local bands aren't getting that big because no one is creating an original style. JH, you are quite right. Ah, I see. I can hear the pop sensibilities that in this music that might make one think that :) Although, I haven't heard music this honest and charming in a very long time. The lyricism is incredible. I do PR work and am an Art Director at Paper Garden Records in Brooklyn. If you know of any way I could get in contact with these boys please contact on of us on http://papergardenrecords.com/ or me if you want, me personally at heidii@papergardenrecords.com. I'm extremely interested in working with them.

Thank you very much,

Heidi G

HEY WIKI BLOGGERS!

YES, THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS IDIOT!

This "MegaCritic" character is some kid named Sachet Gagwani who set up this account to basically just promote the shit out of his own really AWFUL band, Exasper8.

See the awful article he wrote, and what people seem to think of it, and the band Exasper8: http://reviews.wikinut.com/Talented-Local-Bands-Finally-Found%21%3A-Exasper8-and-Destruction-of-Leviathan/29vy1hbv/

This guy needs to be chased off this site, imho.

You sir, are an idiot. I am not Sachet. I have talked to him twice. Once was to compliment his music, the other time was to send him the question sheet once he excepted my article. Please keep commenting. I will gain more profit.
