My Bubblews Journey

My good and bad experience with Bubblews. They broke my heart when I was at my lowest point in life!

I joined Bubblews in June of 2013.

They are a social media and blogging sight that requires a person to write only 400 character posts. This is approximately 100 words and most of these bloggers or what Bubblews calls bubblers only write the bare minimum.

Bubblews claims that they are not dependent on search engine traffic and in fact they are an entity in and of themselves! This means that they only rely on earnings they get from ads on their bloggers posts and that it is only fellow bloggers who mostly view these posts and subsequently view the ads that makes Bubblews their money like Facebook does.

In fact the only way a post will show up in a search would be if one uses the writers name along with the words Bubblews. In other words the search engines do not recognize Bubblews' posts as a source of information that one might be seeking when they Google something.

Writing about our everyday lives

The Bubblews staff tells their bloggers to simply write about the events of their day and not to worry how mundane these events may seem. In fact most seasoned writers who are blogging for Bubblews have criticized those bloggers who are simply doing what the Bubblews support staff has requested of them.

I must admit reading about the everyday lives of people from all over the world can range from being very interesting and enlightening to being a bit boring. For the most part, I as an optimist gained much insight and appreciation for people’s lives from all over the world and truly felt that Bubblews was my 2nd family.

I even felt much loved and appreciated as many of my followers prayed for me and I prayed for them.

In fact, after my son died in August of this year my Bubblews family was of great comfort to me. Yet they have not paid me since then.

Did they deliberately do this to add insult to injury or did they just think that I was so hooked on my new friends at Bubblews that I would not mind not getting paid.

If I could afford to keep my Internet Service and not get paid perhaps I would have still kept in contact with my Bubble buddies but with both my husband and I living on only my Social Security I can no longer afford to keep writing for them except via my Smartphone! However that is very cumbersome and time consuming!

How Bubblews has paid me

Bubblews displays a bank on each person’s profile page letting them know exactly how much they have earned. Bubblers are paid for every like, every view and every comment. When I first started out we were getting paid about a quarter for every comment, like and view but now we are getting paid a penny.

In Bubblews Terms of Service it specifies that the amount one gets paid depends of how much revenue the company makes and it can vary!

When I first started working for Bubblews I was making about $100.00 a month and then it went up to $150.00 for about a month and back down again. Since my December of 2013 I was making $50.00 a month until July 2014.

Bubblews has not paid me since July of 2014 and they claim that the reason why so many of us are not being paid is because of other people who spam or try to cheat the system by using robots or programs that rack up the points.

How much one makes on Bubblews depends on how fast they can read, comprehend and comment on their connections’ posts. Before I gave up my Internet Service for my computer the print on their blogs was so small that I got serious eye strain problems just from reading enough posts to make that $50.00 a month. With that type of earning I was only paying for my Internet Service. Since I was only breaking even and not making over and above the cost of my Internet service I had to give it up.

I started only bubbling on my Smartphone in June of 2014 and was still making $50.00 a month until Bubblews stopped paying me on July 30th 2014. By the way one can redeem their earnings from Bubblews when they reach $50.00 in their bank. Since it is so hard for me to continue to Bubble using my Smartphone and also since they have not paid me along with hundreds of other writers I will no longer submit anymore of my posts until I get paid for at least one of those unpaid redemptions.

Bubblews now owes me $150.00 but I don’t believe that I will ever see that money because I along with hundreds of others who have not been paid believe that Bubblews has stopped their shared Revenue program.

Bubblews TOS Agreement

At the bottom of Bubbles TOS agreement it states that we may add or remove functionalities or features of the Revenue Program at any time and we may suspend or stop the Revenue Program altogether.

This is why many of us who have not been paid believe that Bubblews has stopped paying its bloggers at least for now. Also all those who write for Bubblews are responsible to re-read the TOS on a continued basis in order to keep up with the Terms of Service.

Most of my 3,364 followers have given up on Bubblews due to non payment and also I must admit that not getting paid anymore sort of takes the wind out of my sails.

In conclusion: I don’t want to believe this but I read an article from a former bubbler on the Internet that said Bubblews is a scam and only pays their writers until they get hooked on bubbling! When they are sure they have them right where they want them, they stop paying!

By the way, right now I am at the public Library submitting this article for Wikinut, but, someday I may try to submit one using my Smartphone!

Have you heard of Bubblews or written for Bubblews and if so what is your experience with them?

Those assholes are cheats and swindlers. I removed them from my list long ago. They can have all my money there. Perhaps they need it more than I do !

Sorry to read about being sort of taken for a ride, Judy. I had been hearing how a better paying site Bubblews is, but I took a view if it looks too good to be true, it probably is! And many started singing paeans of it and I wished them well. However, during such times I recall President Kennedy's father's words. Joe Kennedy decided to stop to have his shoes shined before he started his day's work at the office. When the boy finished, he offered Kennedy a stock tip: "Buy Hindenburg." Kennedy soon sold off his stocks, thinking - “”You know it's time to sell when shoeshine boys give you stock tips. This bull market is over." A timely move considering that the stock market would soon resemble the fate of the airship Hindenburg itself - siva

I had a lot of non-payments from Bubblews in the early days, but it is now a long time since I have had a payment refused.

The problem now is that they have cut out payments for views and only make them for likes and comments - this will make a huge difference to many people.

I'm so sorry for your experience with Bubblews. I'm not really familiar with them. I'm not sure if you were ever with "Yahoo Contributors" they left a lot of us high and dry. They shut the doors one day out of the blue. We all got an email and that was that. I was with them for five years. There are sites that pay very well but you just have to look around. Blessings to you!

Thanks for sharing. I joined there and only posted two works, as I found the superficiality of interactions on that site not to my taste.

PS--So sorry to hear of your negative experience with them, but glad to hear at least that there were extra prayers for you and your family at the time you needed it.

JUDY, I congratulate you, WOGIAM, and others for receiving a bit of payment for the tasks done in Bubblews; for me it closed its door, windows and left me in the open, cold, shivering and hungry. Right after opening my bubblews account on Oct. 1, 2013, I was overwhelmed by the rapid turn of events going on in my account, interacting with people from all walks in life; joining, connecting, liking, etc which means they all want immediate response for the sake of $ like I do. I even went to the extent of bubbling till the wee hours of night. All the tasks I did with eagerness and gusto, but on the day of my first redempt (very early in Nov. 20130), I discovered my way to my bubblews account all barred- my username and password no longer working. I tried to contact Bubblews on Nov. 4, then 2nd tracer on Dec. 18, 2013, and 3rd tracer on Jan. 2, 2014 all unanswered. Bubblews owed me something.

Radomes: I have the same experience. Forget about it. They need to cheat to survive. Look at Helium! After they had cheated, they still could not make it !!

This is really tragic. I also have my own story to share. May be some other time. I have been waiting for my 6 unpaid redemption for the month of September and 2 in October. I have stopped for a while because like I said, I am still waiting...and may be hoping.

Angel: Don't waste time with them. They will never pay up. After my first two attempts I got the message and I immediately stopped contributing. I took the trouble to rewrite all those articles and now you see them in Wiki, the better ones!

I have written for Bubblews for several months now and although I was not able to reach payout often, I did enjoy three payments from them and I am headed to my fourth. I do not believe that they have stopped paying as there is now a contact form for missing redemptions.

It is indeed very strange that those assholes suddenly provide u with a form for redemptions, when they did not even want to reply to any of my emails? Why are they wrapping up? Have they swindled enough? Please tell them to sue me now?

I'm sorry you've not been paid for your redemptions. I am a member of Bubblews. I don't write as often as some people though so my earnings are quite slow. I have been paid once though and am waiting on another payment.

I have always been paid by Bubblews. I think it might be good to submit a claim. It seems to take them time buy they still do pay. I have no idea though why some people get missed and really hope they automate things soon for people.

If the assholes cheat everybody, they will run out of articles to publish. So they have no choice but to pay a few of you, perhaps only the white people ?
