The One™, a 3D game that was exclusively created for Nokia N-Gage systems, playable on both the N-Gage Classic and N-Gage QD.

Nokia n-GAGE

Ever played games on an N-Gage? You’d lie if you would say yes, but you haven’t gotten to be The One™?

Technical Platform

The One™, a 3D game that was exclusively created for Nokia N-Gage systems, playable on both the N-Gage Classic and N-Gage QD. Platformed on a Symbian Operating System, used commonly by mobile phones that is patterned just as the usual street fighting and bone-breaking action.

GamePlay

But what’s amazingly cool? You wouldn’t get to experience the unimaginable raging berserker barrage attacks and without the burning elevating copter kicks. The fighting styles are more realistic, to a point that every and all of the moves are of real-combat action, physically imaginable. You get to have the normal stringed combos which you need to perfect the timing of each of the attacks. No blazing effects or magical display of powers, no Hariyukens and Kamehames, just bare-knuckle action.

Game Plot

After the game intro cuts, you begin with customizing how your players would physically look like, dressing ‘em up with your preferred style, then you get to start off the competition. You are to take down all the characters according to ranks for you to be The One™.

The game is of an elemental setting. Starts with the extraction to an air base taking down military ranked fighters. Then to a ghetto community under a bridge where you get to deal with gangster looking Mohawks to the street corners alike of New York’s to seaships and docks. The One™ is guided by a storyline that you are one of the chosen few to get to compete on a global battle of fighters (just like how Mortal Kombat goes). To win the game, is to solely be, The One™.

The One™ is also playable in VS mode, wherein you get to battle with another player over Bluetooth. And if you would really wanted to globally win over and be The only One? Then fire up N-Gage Arena over a secured connection via WAP to fiercefully engage with N-Gage gamers around the globe.

Game Kill!

Quite frustrating that the game never had a chance to be ported on monster consoles like PS3, Xbox, PC or even PSP, understandable to a point that Nokia holds the game title for franchising purposes. But then, who knows? It might soon be platformed for the common gamer’s class.

Published by Nokia and developed by Digital Legends exclusively for Nokia N-Gage you get to N-Gage anywhere for you to be, The One™!

Thanks for always following Denise... Yah! I've just managed to learn the Sectioning and the Image stacking on a page... Being a bit busy, I just tuck my articles in a single sheet and post... but now I'm enjoying re-formatting the articles to make it look better with sections and images...
