An overview of a new social site and some of the many features it offers the user.

This is a short review about a small social networking site that I just completed and would like to share with you. The site is ready for registration now and though I would highlight some of the many features on it.
What can I do there? My123day is a small social networking site that focuses on the user’s day. By using different tools you can start sharing your day with your friends, explore what they’ve been up to and so much more!
Check out some of the features below.

My 123 day is a feature all about expressing your day in 3 emoticons to tell your contacts in a quick and easy way how your day has been or is going at the time. With this you can add a short description as well explaining and providing a little bit more information regarding your day.

The 123 List

With this you list your favorite top three of certain categories and can change it any time. So for example when a new movie is your new favorite just enter you 123 list again and change it to share it with your friends.

Easy navigation

It couldn’t be any easier to navigate around the site. This is made possible with the dashboard or by using the buttons on the left side to get where you want. This has been kept as simple as possible to provide easy navigation and ease of use. The site uses widgets which can be edited by each individual user to their liking. This is a great way of making your pages more personal and getting it the way you want it to be.

The Pages

This is the place where you post the latest about…well, just about anything you want. Create sub pages with-in your pages, and an easy to use panel on the left allows you to find what you are looking for fast. Your friends comment here on what you have written and you post follow-up replies. Basically like a “wall” section. A great feature is you can individually choose who can see it and who can comment. So for example I make a new entry and I choose the access level to friends but I give write access to a custom group of friends. Or I can make it public/friends – the combination is up to the user.

Collection Of Friends

In the previous section I talked about custom friends – this is where you define a group of friends to make it easier to share things that you only want to share with a select group of friends instead of all your friends. This is easy to set-up in this section great looking “phone-book” type interface where you search by the alphabet and “check” each one that you want to include in your newly created group. After the creation this option will appear where access can be selected.

Photo albums

What social site will be complete without pictures?! Create custom albums of your uploaded pictures to share with whom you choose. Comments can be made on individual photos and can be tagged as well. Also tag individual parts of the picture and comment on that. There are loads of options in the gallery to choose from making it easy to create, edit, delete albums, showing user stats, most viewed, your friends albums, most popular on the site and much more!

Under each user’s 123Day is his/her personal blog for sharing more about their day. Upload documents, music you created, PDF's and so much more.
These are just a few of the features that’s on offer and the site allows the user multiple ways to customize it to their liking. So you will have everything to help you easily share your day and whatever else you want with the people closest to you. Registration is as easy as 1,2,3 - just create an new account with, click the link on the confirmation e-mail* send to you and sign in. Done! So what are you waiting for? Go to my 123 day now and start today.
