For most of my life I have been taking the bus to take me and my wife places, like doctor appointments, going shopping, to church, and other places. By taking the bus has its advantages and disadvantages like driving a car has. These routes are some of my favorite routes that I enjoy taking when I get a chance to take the routes.

Route 56

The route 56 is one of my favoirite buses because of some of the places that I go to is on this route or come very close to getting there. Some of the places that this route gets me to are to Walmart, Target, some grocery stores, Wisconsin State Fair, the Kinnickinnic branch of the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS), church, and some of the resturants that my wifw and I like to go. This route goes down Greenfield Avenue and goes down Miller Park Way as well. The route also gets me to some of my other favorite connecting routes to take me the rest of my way to my desingation. This route is mainly an east and west bound route that travels through the cities of Milwaukee, West Milwaukee, West Allis.

Route 17

The route 17 bus goes down Canal Street in the Menomonee Valley. This route helps some people goes to their jobs in the family. The route also gets to some of the entertainment places of the valley and gets close to some of the resturants that are located in the valley. Some of the places that the routes gets to are Potowatomi Hotel & Casino, Palarmo Pizza, Valley Fields. Some of the other places that it gets near to are Miller Park, Twisted Fisherman, BBC Lighting. The bus also runs down Mitchell Street shopping district, that contains some of the unique speciality shops there. One of the disadvantages of using this route is that is a limit service to the valley because not only is it a short route but there is a low ridership the bus has. This route travels mainly travels east and west.

Route 14

Route 14 is another favorite bus route to take to get to some of my designations around town. The routh is a north south and east west in some areas of the city. A few places that take the bus line to get me to downtown, to the casino when the route 17 is unvailable, going to Southridge shopping mall, the Shops of the Grand Avenue, and other places. Some of the other places that the route will take you are Bayshore Town Center, Marquette University, Spring Mall, and other parts of Downtown Milwaukee.

Route 27 And Purple Line

Both route 27 and the Purple Line goes down 27th Street and it goes north and south. Some of places that like to takes these routes to are places like Mitchell Park, the Domes, Leon Custard Stand and some of the other stores that the buses makes stops at. A few other places that these routes will take you are Wilson Park and Senior Center and St. Lukes Medical Center.

Green Line

The Green Line is another route that I enjoy taking once and awhile. I like to take it to downtown which is near some of the places that I enjoy going to and also to connect me to another route to finish to get to place that I need to go. Some of places that you can take the route to the Bayshore Town Center, University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee (UWM), to the airport. This route is a north and south route.

Review Of My Routes And Of Milwaukee County Transit

Since my wife and I use the bus a lot these days since we no longer was able to afford to have and maintain a car, it has been very interesting. Almost all the buses have GPS tracking to let you how long it will take to get your location through their mobil website and there are also third party apps that tracks the buses through the site as well. With the GPS you are able to track it so are able to get to the bus stop and don't have to wait.

These are some of my favorite bus routes and there others that I take as well but I don't have them listed. As the route 56 is the most convient for me since the stop is the closest to my home. The routes are very well run most of time dispite for inclimant weather or if the bus has any issues (breaking down).
