Surf Wikinut before Google

There are many topics and guides on Wikinut that can assist persons who are looking for helpful tips. It is far easier too, having it in one location.

Surf Wikinut before Google

I recently joined Wikinut and find it a pleasant site to be on. Not only have I published a few of my articles and gained followers, but have come to know and admire fellow writers, whose work I now look forward to reading. Some of these writers have posted guides that show how to improve one's writing, as well as other useful tips.

These articles are very helpful, and I am now making use of some of the suggestions. The Wikinut Help Section is a must read for all newbies to the site. I have been through this section many times to familiarize myself with the guidelines on using the editor, formatting, idea tips, marketing and other aids that enhance and promote one's writing.

Reading the content in the Help Section made me realize the important role social media plays when promoting your work. I have a Facebook account, but was not interested in Twitter before joining Wikinut. I soon signed up with Twitter and now enjoy tweeting, and advertising my work in a fun way.

Navigating my way through the site took me to the Guide Section which has a lot of interesting categories, but I went to the Web sub-section. I was impressed with the selection of How To articles ranging from copyright, web development, hacker prevention, and other relevant information pertaining to the internet. Before becoming a Wikinutter, I had created a blog, but needed suggestions on improving and perfecting it before going public, and began researching online.

A few of my questions were answered, but was still not satisfied with the data I found on sites. It was only after reading the articles on Wikinut that I was able to understand what was needed to get my blog up and running. The writers' content is clear and straightforward to a beginner like myself. There is no geeky computer or website jargon to contend with. "HTML and SEO" now means something to me.

Wikinut has many guides that both writers and internet users, who are searching for specific topics, will find the answers they are looking for. The writers of these articles can be contacted, and will be happy to answer any additional queries you may have. I now surf Wikinut first, when I want solutions and helpful tips, making Google my second option.

I enjoy reading, and writing poetry and prose, as well as articles. Creating fiction stories is what I like to do, but will write on almost any topic that interest me.

Yes, plus if you find an article you like you should leave a comment too and hopefully the writer of that article will then find you and check out your articles!

Good advice! I do that sometimes, although I wished I had commented on your helpful articles and other writers' work in the Guide Section. Thank you also for moderating this page. Michelle

Though I have been active here for two years, I have not gone through in detail the Help, Guide Section etc. Good points that you have shared, Michelle, thank you - siva
