The popularity of the block buster movie “50 shades of Grey” and the book is a dangerous rude awakening of the desperate need for truth, love and acceptance in our Godless society! If you want to know the greatest love story ever told, then read on!

What makes a man unforgettable?

Just the opposite of Christian Grey I raised my sons to be kind, loving and gentle with women, and, they are unforgettable!!

Just look at my daughter in laws face! Anyone can tell that she is hopelessly and helplessly lost in love for my handsome son!

No woman can or has ever really gotten over loving any one of my sons!

I know this for a fact because all their exes still are in love with them. Yet my sons did not make the decision to leave! Sometimes a women will mistakenly think that the grass is greener somewhere or with someone else yet only to find out later they were gravely mistaken!

Sometimes women, especially in this day and age, have the tendency to think they need to "shop around" a little bit more when all the while they already had the "perfect man!!"

At any rate, the fact that women flock to see 50 shades of Grey makes me want to vomit. I feel very sorry for any woman who thinks they need perverted sex, domination and abuse to spice up their sex lives. I even hate writing on this subject but I guess it is time for me to speak my mind since everyone else already has.

Mixed messages

What is most troubling is the mixed messages this movie and the response to it is sending our younger generation! God Help US!!!

Authorities on human behavior at Michigan State University believe that the movie "50 shades of Grey" is nothing but GLORIFIED RAPE and brainwashing!

It trivializes abuse of women! The main character, Christian, uses an interlocking pattern of emotional abusive strategies which are classified with emotional violence. The relationship could NOT be consensual due to the age and background differences between the two characters.

Fiction or not it is really speaking to society’s tolerance on violence against women. This normalizes the behavior of sexual violence and many scenes in this movie would be defined as rape. Since this movie came out women have been stuck in their hand cuffs and they had to call 911 to get them out.

50 shades of Grey glamorizes violence against women. When you put this type of behavior out there in the form of a movie or book it NORMALIZES this type of abuse.

The relationship in 50 shades of Grey is not consensual. It is our business how women and children are treated. It is ILLEGAL to tie someone up and leave them even for a second.

What is real romance?

If you want to know what real romance is read the Bible! Yes, I said Bible!

Below is the best love story ever told!

Song of Solomon 1 New Living Translation (NLT)

1 This is Solomon’s song of songs, more wonderful than any other.
Young Woman
2 Kiss me and kiss me again,
for your love is sweeter than wine.
3 How fragrant your cologne;
your name is like its spreading fragrance.
No wonder all the young women love you!
4 Take me with you; come, let’s run!
The king has brought me into his bedroom.
Young Women of Jerusalem
How happy we are for you, O king.
We praise your love even more than wine.

All normal women love and respect a gentle man!

Young Woman

How right they are to adore you.
5 I am dark but beautiful,
O women of Jerusalem—
dark as the tents of Kedar,
dark as the curtains of Solomon’s tents.
6 Don’t stare at me because I am dark—
the sun has darkened my skin.
My brothers were angry with me;
they forced me to care for their vineyards,
so I couldn’t care for myself—my own vineyard.
7 Tell me, my love, where are you leading your flock today?
Where will you rest your sheep at noon?
For why should I wander like a prostitute
among your friends and their flocks?

A gentle and loving man is the sexiest creature on this planet!!

Young Man

8 If you don’t know, O most beautiful woman,
follow the trail of my flock,
and graze your young goats by the shepherds’ tents.
9 You are as exciting, my darling,
as a mare among Pharaoh’s stallions.
10 How lovely are your cheeks;
your earrings set them afire!
How lovely is your neck,
enhanced by a string of jewels.
11 We will make for you earrings of gold
and beads of silver.
Young Woman
12 The king is lying on his couch,
enchanted by the fragrance of my perfume.
13 My lover is like a sachet of myrrh
lying between my breasts.
14 He is like a bouquet of sweet henna blossoms
from the vineyards of En-gedi.
Young Man
15 How beautiful you are, my darling,
how beautiful!
Your eyes are like doves.
Young Woman
16 You are so handsome, my love,
pleasing beyond words!
The soft grass is our bed;
17 fragrant cedar branches are the beams of our house,
and pleasant smelling firs are the rafters.

I have not read the book, I will not see the movie. When I heard it was a best seller and read half of one review I knew I didn't want to know any more.

Thanks for sharing this article. I did not read this book and will not see the movie. I know very little of it but what I have heard I do not like. I do not understand how in this world that we live in there are people that would pay money to read or see something like this. I would rather see couples in love with a very meaningful relationship.

Thanks Judy for this meaningful share. You are one of a kind to share from your personal life too to drive home the points.

Flippant attitudes and the desire for thrill are sure to cause dismay and grief. These are just filmy themes better ignored in real life. Films last couple of hours at most but real life is more than that! siva
