THE NIGERIAN GUARDIAN NEWSPAPER AFTER ALEX IBRU’S DEATH
When unqualified family relatives are appointed to run a professional business as intellectually-demanding as a newspaper organization, what do you think will happen to such business after a short time?
This is the question begging for an urgent answer considering the situation facing the prestigious Nigerian Guardian Newspaper under the veterinary mismanagement and animalistic mismanners of one Mr. Alexandra Thomopolus, who seems to be suffering from a sort of egocentric mania.
I supposed he never dreamt of taking care of a pig’s pen before, let alone occupying the revered position of managing director in any newspaper, how much more the flagship of the Nigerian dailies- The Guardian Newspaper.
A veterinary nurse can only understand animals’ character and illness. Veterinary surgeons (vets) work to safeguard the health and welfare of animals not newspapers. If Guardian is sick, intellectuals’ (doctors in Mass Communication, Public Relations or Sociology) are what it needs to regain its dying image, not a snake nurse. Hence, as Alexandra is now in charge of managing human beings, there is tendency for him to treat humans like animals because he sees humans as animals and he behaves ‘animalistically’ to them.
Very soon, The Guardian Newspaper may go underground if the somewhat looking mentally insane and irrational Alexandra Thomopolus keep maltreating people (journalists / contributors) that made the newspaper enjoy the well respected image it has been known for over the years.
The Nigerian Guardian Newspaper should be prepared for law suit for using my poems and articles for more than twelve years without paying me a dime for them.
