Trains are a great way to travel and it'll save you quite a bit of money vs. if you were to take a greyhound.

Trains, a modern day money saver for travel.

Taking a train is one of the most effective ways to save money ,and see some significant landmarks and lakes during the ride depending on where you are vs. where you board the train. Personally, I've take the train 3 times in my whole life, and I can say without a doubt that I loved it not to mention that its cheap to ride as well. Another reason to ride the train is because of the convenience that it provides. A person can take a train from just about anywhere going anywhere. I hail from Gary/Merrillville, IN and the South Shore Line will take me to Chicago should I desire to go, and I see all kinds of towns and tracks as well as trails while I'm on the train. I recommend that you take the train at least once because I believe you'll find it to be a very rewarding and money saving experience.
