learn how spammer use bots to send spam messages to your email

spam bots

when people who use the internet increase , crime which use internet as a media is also increasing rapidly, there are many kinds of internet crimes such as hacking, phising (making a blog identical to a bank site/ other blogs) pharming (re-directing the place you click to another place the pharmers want) and other things . aside of that there are also a frenzy of innovation and opportunity through the advance in techonology which is subsequently used by certain person to advertise through the internet , as the cost of sending to one person is the same as sending the same mail to 1.000.000 person on the internet . when people make blogs or join social networks site they are deliberatily posts their address on that site without realizing that this kind of post attracts a program referred as “scavenger bots”

scavenger bot is a code (or sometimes, a program) that can roam around the internet looking for any phrase that contains the email “@” sign when a scavenger bot found a phrase containing the ” @ “sign , it will collect it and make a list of these adresses . then this list are sold about $25 per thousand addresses to spammers – people who mail unsolicited ads (junk mails) to huge number of recipients.

as scavenger bots are growing in number , there are counteract measures to reduce this bots , such as anti-spam bots or a false email address that when opened or spammed can trace the spammer whereabouts this type of counteract measures is a big success since they can track where the spammers are and closing /ban their IP so they can’t send any more nonsense mails (junk mails) to our E-mail inbox . and then again those bots are untraceable except when they already makes a list and send it to another spammer.
